Marijuana use has been a controversial subject since the beginning of time. People have long used this agent with hopes of achieving a euphoric state. It is practically illegal to consume in most of the continental United States. Yet, there are people who feel the need to use marijuana under the guides that it is an herb and is something that Muha meds carts is beneficial for the body. The biggest claim is that it “can cure” cancer. The issue that I find with that statement is that I have yet to see anyone with cancer be cured from smoking marijuana or consuming marijuana enriched products. Cannabis smokers love to cling to the fact that it is a natural plant. We find that the plant is frequently used more for recreational usage than for medicinal purposes. Tetrahydrocannabinol (also known as THC) is the main active ingredient in marijuana. It is responsible for being the catalyst for altering the mind.
As far as health is concerned, there does not seem to be much benefit for people who consume cannabis. Besides appetite enhancement, analgesia in cancer patients and glaucoma management there really are no other serious benefits to marijuana consumption. One of the biggest issues with gleaning the few benefits of cannabis is that one is required to constantly use the plant to experience a tangible effect. By doing so, it causes you to be high the majority of the time. It is not necessary for your cognitive functions to be consistently altered for you to receive such minute or insignificant results that can be achieved through alternative means.
The technical definition of a drug is anything that is isolated and concentrated from its original source. In its purest form, I’m quite sure that marijuana is not as bad as it is made out to be. However, once you begin to add and subtract substances from the equation under the auspices of fortifying the plant, things can get tricky.
San Diego, CA – June 26, 2018 – BudTraderannounced via a Facebook post that the brand will donate a portion of proceeds from a special edition t-shirt release at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con International to the Marijuana Policy Project. McLaughlin says his decision to help MPP with funding comes after hearing that the organization, which has been instrumental in reforming marijuana policy, is now struggling to get funding now that 30 states have achieved legalization.
“As soon as I learned that the Marijuana Policy Project needed help, I decided BudTrader had to do something,” says McLaughlin. “California, Washington, Colorado may be legal now, but the battle for cannabis legalization is far from over. There’s 20 states with cannabis prohibition still in place, and it’s still illegal at the federal level. It’s barely halftime, the games not over yet and we need the Marijuana Policy Project more, than ever to ensure we have full legalization in all 50 states.” BudTrader will be printing a run of limited-edition t-shirts to sell to their fans exclusively online and at BudTrader Nerd Headquarters Experience, the brand’s giant outdoor event at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, held July 19-22. A portion of all proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to the Marijuana Policy Project.
“At BudTrader, we always put our money where our mouth is and try to lead with our actions and walk the walk,” McLaughlin adds. “I hope our actions will inspire well capitalized public cannabis companies to give back and donate to the Marijuana Policy Project as well.”
